A quick Short built around one of my favourite ideas in Magic: setting up a
board state so bizarre that losing the game turns into part of the combo.

## The setup

Starting from an empty library and seven cards in hand, I chain together a
pile of mana from Black Lotus, Channel, and Chromatic Orrery, then use
**Research** to fetch a card from outside the game. Yes, that card is a
Charizard, because why not.

## Losing on purpose

I activate **Words of Worship** repeatedly, then play **Lich's Mirror** and
cast Charizard. Dropping to zero life would normally lose me the game, but
Lich's Mirror replaces that loss: I shuffle everything back into my library,
gain life, and reset my life total. Then **Shahrazad** resolves and kicks off
an entirely new subgame. It is a gloriously silly chain that turns near-death
into a fresh start, all in under a minute.
